| We have been sending our English newsletter, Nomura Center News, out to the Representatives of the United Nations, UNESCO, and Ambassadors to Japan as well as our International Network. However, due to the pandemic of COVID-19, the international mail has been confined/delayed and we have decided to switch our paper-based English newsletter to digital format to put it on our website from the No.85 issue published in July, 2020. Last year in March, shortly after the turn of the second year of COVID-19, we had celebrated our 60th anniversary of foundation. Just prior to this memorial event, witnessed the invasion to a county by one of the UN Security Council member states, we spent throughout the year thinking hard about what we should learn from this incident as our own educational theme, and try our best to live our educational principles in our daily lives. The Nomura Center News No.89 includes the New Year message by Director General Mrs. Yumiko Kaneko at the beginning of 2022. Although more than a year had passed, we fervently hope to share the aim to leave this planet to our next generation. In the end, we sincerely wish that as many readers as possible will find time to read our English newsletter and would like to receive any comment and impression.
